CHP Properties

Affordable rental housing has long been recognized as a pressing need in the Rochester area. Especially since 1994, the Rochester Community Housing Partnership (CHP) has proposed and initiated projects to address those needs. Imagination, innovation and partnerships of as many as sixteen institutions and organizations have made our rental communities outstanding successes.

Northgate Community Apartments

Northgate Community Apartments

Made up of a pair of neighboring buildings, each with six two-bedroom apartments. Renovation of the complex was completed in December 1995. This community is a joint effort by CHP and Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center to provide adults with chronic mental illnesses decent, affordable housing and the support services necessary for them to live independently in the community. Managed by Pemco Management.

Bandel Hills Townhomes

Bandel Hills Townhomes

Completed in 1996, this is a community designed for moderate income households. The twenty-five townhomes range in size from two to four bedrooms and were designed to address Rochester’s shortage of rental housing for larger families. Green space around the buildings and two well-equipped play areas offer plenty of safe activity space for children. The community center houses an office for the resident managers, laundry facilities and a meeting room. Managed by Paramark Management. For further information call (507) 280-4210.
